Heavens To Betsycalculated

Corin Tucker’s pre-Sleater-Kinney Riot Grrrl band originally released this in 1994, and it still hits with the same direct, urgent energy. A vital document from an essential moment, it is a brilliant reminder of where Tucker’s voice and vision first took shape.

The song Axeman later turned up in the 2017 film Izzy Gets the F--- Across Town, giving another life to a track that remains sharp and unforgettable. Still available on CD and cassette, this is a great one to keep close.
