Following these two releases, the band\u003cbr\u003etook its make-it-fucked-up philosophy on the road, touring with Sunny Day\u003cbr\u003eReal Estate, Gogogo Airheart, and Nuzzle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn May of 1999 the band relocated to New York City. Matt Safer, a recent\u003cbr\u003earrival from Washington DC, took over the bass roles. With a more solid lineup\u003cbr\u003ethan ever before, the band dove into an exploration of dance and pop music,\u003cbr\u003eadding Chic, The Byrds, The Happy Mondays, and Timbaland to their\u003cbr\u003eprevious influences.
