ZezareeSantos Mis Difuntos

Often referred to in underground circles as the "Nik Fiend of Mexico," Zezaree forged a distinct voice within the Latin American darkwave underground, blending icy synthesizers, melodic guitar work, and stark, introspective songwriting. Santos Mis Difuntos stands as one of his most personal statements, compiling recordings united by themes of memory, mortality, and spiritual devotion.

Dedicated to friends and family who have passed away, Santos Mis Difuntos is both an intimate elegy and a celebration of remembrance. Drawing from the imagery of Mexican Día de los Muertos traditions, the record inhabits a liminal space where the living and the dead remain deeply connected. Somber synthesizer melodies, driving rhythms, and melancholic guitar lines frame songs that explore grief, longing, and the enduring bonds that transcend death. More than a document of loss, Santos Mis Difuntos is a timeless meditation on memory, preserving Zezaree's singular vision while offering a poignant tribute to those who continue to live on through remembrance.
